Drupal Camp Pannonia 2019

DrupalCamp Pannonia 2019 was a great place to share ideas, make friends and learn new things. Also, for the first time, I gave a workshop with my colleague Bojan, so that was a new experience for me.

Also, I finally met Balázs János Tatár in person. We worked together on solving a security issue in my SVG Formatter module, but we never met face to face.

The funny thing is that both of us were at Drupal Dev Days in Romania back in June, and at Drupal camp Ghent last year, but somehow we missed each other.

The most interesting sessions this year for me were Writing Secure Drupal Code by Balázs János Tatár (Petend, Belgium) and A Present for a Lazy Developer: Automating Code Quality Control by Alexey Sivets (Engine Eight, Belarus).

Balázs talked about writing secure and bulletproof code for Drupal 7 and 8. He also showed us what hackers can do if your site is not properly configured.

Alexey talked about automating code quality testing. Although I'm already using some tools for checking code quality I picked up a few new tricks.
